Avenue 2 · The Club (private)

Membership, by application.

A private fashion club. Not a subscription, not a charity — a roster.

Hero

The member, framed as admitted. The pitch isn't "fund the houses we make" — it's "you're among the few who get access." Tonal cousin to Soho House or Hodinkee H10, applied to fashion access rather than hospitality or watches.

Format

Single application. Vetting + waitlist. Annual dues, paid up front. Capacity capped — a few hundred at the start, growing slowly. Maybe two tiers eventually (Member / Founding Member); maybe one. Status legible without being loud.

What members get

Members-only drops and revivals. Capsules made for the roster, never sold otherwise. Studio visits and salons. First refusal on every Residency drop. Annual hand-numbered piece. The houses we run are operational fact, not pitch.

Why it works

Empty space — fashion-organised private clubs barely exist. The Residency feeds the Club (every cohort drops to members first); the Club funds the Residency. Closed mechanic; can charge real money; status compounds with the alumni list.

Fobou — a private fashion club

Membership,
by application.

A roster. A few hundred. The houses we run drop to the room first. Capsules made for members never appear elsewhere. The point isn't access to a website. It's access to what gets made.

The roll — Members 001–214

The Club at fifty per cent capacity. Two-thirty-six remaining.

What membership grants

Access, by design narrow.

The roster's drops

Every Residency capsule reaches members first — full window, full sizing, before any other channel. Some never leave the room.

Members-only houses

Two capsules a year are made only for the roster. Not previewed. Not stocked. Not revived without a vote.

The studio

Quarterly visits. Sample fittings. The makers, the cutters, the patternmakers. Salon dinners around each drop.

First refusal on revivals

Alumni revivals open to members weeks before the Archive opens publicly. The piece you missed in 2027 finds you in 2030.

The annual

One hand-numbered piece a year, pulled from the year's cohort, made for the roster only. Yours by virtue of having been there.

The address book

The roll is members-visible (or redacted at request). Salons are seated by intention, not algorithm.

Salons & gatherings — 2026 calendar

The room is the point.

A handful of evenings a year. Not panels, not press, not parties. Dinners and visits with the people whose work makes it onto the roll. Seated by intention.

Members-only this season

Three drops the public will not see.

Capsules sized to the roster, made once, archived afterward. No restocks, no public release, no second chance.

Joining the Club

Two-hundred and thirty-six places remain.

Application is a paragraph: who you are, what you wear, why now. Read by the founders. Decisions within four weeks. Annual dues — €2,400 — paid only on acceptance. Membership renews by mutual consent.
